Looking for something fun to do this week? I consulted the stars—and my calendar—to bring you the top five events going on in Utah over the next seven days.
1. West Valley Arts Summer Concerts: Utah Symphony
Monday, June 27th, 8:30 PM – 10:00 PM @ the Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley
Bring a blanket and join the Utah Symphony for a free outdoor concert featuring music from some of Latin America’s greatest composers.
2. The Colorful Collective
Now until Sunday, July 3rd, Tuesday – Sunday 12:00 – 9:00 PM @ Urban Arts Gallery in SLC
In honor and celebration of Pride month, Th e Colorful Collective showcases art by LGBTQ+ artists, highlighting the strength in community and the Queer experience and the importance of embracing your own colorful being.
3. Gem Faire
Friday, July 1st – Sunday, July 3rd @ Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy
A longstanding tradition in my family, visiting the Gem Faire is always a treat. Utah’s Gem Faire is one of the largest in the country, showcasing beautiful gems, beads, crystals, and jewelry to purchase or simply soak up their good energies.
4. Summer Pop-Up Market
Saturday, July 2nd, 11:00 Am – 2:00 PM @ Community Well in Ogden
Ogden’s Summer Pop-up market showcases a myriad of local wellness professionals and small business owners, each with their own business offerings and products. With such a diverse group of vendors, you never know what treasures you’ll find.
5. Music, Brews, & BBQ Festival
Saturday, July 2nd, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM @ Snowpine Lodge in Alta
Celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with some delicious food, drinks, and local music. Tickets are $20 each or $10 plus four canned goods.
