It can be difficult to find time to get away for a romantic evening. And with so many activities and venues being closed to in-person guests over the last couple years, a lot of us have missed out on quite a few date nights. If you’re looking for a sweet way to spice up your next night out, then head on over to the Aggie Chocolate Factory for date night! This event is hosted every third Friday of the month, so you can even make it a romantic tradition.
The evening will be an hour and a half total and will give you a unique insight into the nuances of each flavor and the science behind ACF’s chocolates. The Factory advertises the event as a “decadent evening of flavorful single-origin chocolate,” and each ticket to the event will give you a private tour of the Chocolate Factory itself with a tasting platter of the factory’s chocolates, and an overview of how each small batch of chocolate is prepared. You’ll be able to learn more about what “single-origin” means and how it makes the Aggie chocolate so delicious, but to give you a clue: it all stems from how they carefully source and process the cacao, to bring out the rich and unique flavors in each sweet they make.
If you can’t make it to the date night event, the Factory does offer free public tours during business hours so you can still learn about the process of making chocolate. You can also schedule a group tasting if you’d like to have a double date night with friends. So grab your loved one and set your sights on the Aggie Chocolate Factory for your next romantic night out on the town.
