Utah wasn’t always known for its bustling nightlife and variety of restaurant and bar choices, but it’s definitely grown into a rose in the desert that boasts a veritable garden of dining and entertainment choices. Along with familiar chains and classic fast food options, you can now find locally owned and unique venues all around the state that offer great eating and drinking, along with entertainment. Most breweries and distilleries offer tours and tastings, and restaurants host and sponsor community and personal events. So if you’re looking for something fun to do, look no further than our state capital.
If you’re not sure where to start on your Salt Lake food and beverage journey, I recommend attending Wine Night at Tea Zaanti. The next Wine Night is on January 19th, but there will also be a handful of other dates in the coming months that you can attend as well. Tea Zaanti is located at 1944 S. 1100 E. and is Salt Lake’s only existing tea and wine cafe. They strive to create an environment where you can relax and socialize comfortably. Their venue features an outdoor patio, indoor seating, a welcoming atmosphere, and over 85 different tea, wine, and espresso options on their menu.
The Wine Night events focus on sampling two new special order wines. Different wine enthusiasts or experts are always in attendance and you can get an insider scoop on how the wine is made and why it tastes so delicious. Snacks are also covered in the ticket price and you can purchase additional pours and samples while there. These tickets (and the wines featured on these nights) sell out fast so don’t miss your chance! Sign up now to make new friends, find your new favorite hangout, and try delectable wine.
