Do you sometimes feel like your life is missing a magical spark? Are you a lover of Bridgerton or Pride and Prejudice? Do you want an excuse to wear fancy clothes and eat fancy food? Or do you long to experience what it’s like to be the main character in a novel, just once? If you answered yes to any of those questions then I have excellent news for you; you are hereby invited to the Roses are Red Masquerade Ball. You don’t need glass slippers to get in, but you will need your dancing shoes!
The ball will be hosted at Historic Utah County Courthouse on both February 11th and 18th. No matter which day you decide to attend, you can expect to find a DJ, live music, dancing, and beautiful performances. There will also be plenty of hors d’oeuvres and mocktails to snack on while you dance the night away. If dancing isn’t your strong suit, or if you long for novel levels of intrigue, there will also be a lock and key quest you can try and solve before the end of the night.
The ball is Regency-era-themed, so when choosing your outfit strive for empire waistlines, top hats, gloves, bonnets, a gentleman’s cane, or anything else you’d wear to meet the queen. And of course, you can’t forget your mask! Above all though the goal is to have fun, so don your frills and laces and head to the ballroom. It’s your night to shine like the Jewel of the Season or maybe even run into your Mr. Darcy…
This event is for 16-year-olds and up. 16-17-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult in order to be admitted. For tickets and more information visit unation.com/event/roses-are-red-masquerade-ball-13234084/
