Spring is here, but it’s still a little chilly outside, so most of us still stay indoors. If you have kids who are going stir-crazy (or if you’re going crazy trying to keep them entertained), then you’ll be excited to hear that Jurassic Quest is coming to Utah! Get out of the house and have fun while learning about dinosaurs.
Jurassic Quest is the most realistic, immersive dinosaur experience in the country. Its exhibits feature life-size replicas of dinosaurs, including animatronic models of a T-rex, a 60-foot-long Spinosaurus, and a 80-foot-long Apatosaurus! Each dinosaur is painted with detailed accuracy, and animated to act as life-like as possible. It’s as close to a real dinosaur as you’ll ever see!
Along with the gigantic models, there will also be adolescent dinosaurs wandering around in the crowds, and baby dinosaurs with their trainers. You can even try your own hand at velociraptor training! If you’re feeling courageous you can even climb on the back of one of the riding dinosaurs. Or if you’re more interested in getting your hands dirty, head on over to the fossil dig where you can find ancient dinosaur bones. There will also be bounce houses, craft tables, games, and The Quest which is an interactive game where you can complete challenges for a prize. If you have really young dinosaur fans, there will also be a dino-themed play area for them to enjoy. There’s something for everyone and enough wonder and excitement to keep the whole family entertained!
The exhibit will be held at the Mountain America Expo Center from March 31st through April 2nd, and it is of course family friendly. So whether you have a kid who’s a dino-lover, or if you’re a paleontologist at heart, this event is made for you.
